if you have payment protection or are the beneficiary of an Oportun member that has passed away.

at any time if you no longer need it.

If you lose your job or income involuntarily, payments may be covered for up to 6 months.

If you can’t work due to an accident or illness, payments may be covered for up to 6 months.

In the case of death, your remaining loan balance may be canceled.

You must meet the following requirements to qualify for Payment Protection:

Be under 70 years old

Work for income or profit for an average of 24 hours or more per week

Product is optional

You can cancel any time

Payment Protection is not required for loan approval and will not impact your approval odds or loan terms
