Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility: This promotion is open to select existing Set & Save members and legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older. Oportun employees and their dependents are not eligible for this Promotion.
2. Match Amount: Set & Save Members who opt-in to this promotion will receive a 2% match on all new deposits (Net New Deposits) made into their Set & Save account during the Promotion Period. All Net New Deposits will earn the match up to a maximum of One-Hundred Dollars ($100).
3. Net New Deposits: To be eligible for promotional matching, deposits must be made between when you opt-in and the end of business day on April 30, 2026 (the Promotional Period). Only deposits made after April 14, 2026 and after you’ve opted-in will count toward the match. The final eligible amount entering the Holding Period (May 1 – June 30, 2026) will be your total Net New Deposits as calculated at the close of the Promotional Period. Deposits during the Promotion Period may be limited to $3,000 to $5,000 per week at Oportun’s discretion. Withdrawal Calculations: If you make withdrawals during the Promotional Period, we’ll first deduct them from any balance you had in your Set & Save account before April 14, 2026. For example, if you had $800 in your account before April 14, then deposited $2,000 on April 19, and later withdrew $1,200 on April 25, your Net New Deposit amount would be $1,600 on April 30.
4. Promotion Period: The 2% match on deposits begins on April 14, 2026 and ends on April 30, 2026. Deposits initiated before or after this period will not receive the match.
5. Holding Period: To earn the 2% Match, participating members must maintain their Net New Deposits in their account from May 1 through June 30, 2026 (the Holding Period). Their Set & Save account must remain active with the same connected checking account via Plaid throughout this period. The final amount eligible for the 2% Match will be calculated based on their Net New Deposits still in the account at the close of business on June 30, 2026. If Members make withdrawals during the Holding Period, we’ll first count those withdrawals against any balance they had before April 14, 2026 prior to counting against their Net New Deposits. For example: If a Member had $800 in their account before April 14, then deposited $2,000 on April 19, their total account balance would be $2,800 with $2,000 counted as Net New Deposits at the end of April 30. If they later withdraw $1,200 on June 2 during the Holding Period, their eligible Net New Deposit amount for the match on June 30 would be $1,600.
6. Payout: Oportun will begin paying the 2% savings matching amounts on the Members Set & Save Net New Deposits on July 1, 2026 and the matched amount will be deposited to Member’s connected checking account by July 31, 2026.
7. Conditions: By participating, Members agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and the decisions of Oportun, which are final and binding in all matters related to this promotion.
8. Limitation of Liability: Oportun is not responsible for any technical failures or unauthorized human intervention that may affect the payout of the matched amounts.
9. Modification and Termination: Oportun reserves the right to modify or terminate this promotion at any time and in their own discretion without prior notice.
10. Governing Law: This promotion is governed by the laws of the United States and the state of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
