Residents, including those with little or no credit history, can apply for loans online, via a mobile device, or in person. Oportun plans to open retail locations in Perth Amboy and Union City in addition to the current location in Elizabeth, NJ. New Jersey is the twelfth state where Oportun offers loans and the first in the Northeast. Its location in Elizabeth, NJ is the company’s 300th in the United States.
