Oportun named one of Bay Area’s fastest-growing private companies

Mission-driven lender marks fourth consecutive appearance on annual Bay Area lists in the run-up to successful IPO

SAN CARLOS, CA–21 October 2019–Oportun (Nasdaq: OPRT) today announced that for the fourth consecutive year it has been named in both the San Francisco Business Times 100 Fastest-Growing Bay Area Private Companies and the Silicon Valley Business Journal Fast Private Awards. 2019 marks the final year of Oportun’s eligibility for the awards as the company successfully completed an Initial Public Offering (IPO) last month.

As of 30 June 2019, all companies ranked in the San Francisco Business Times and Silicon Valley Business Journal lists were privately held corporations with documented revenue increases over the last three years as verified by independent auditors.
